At Play Pawz, our daycare services are more than just a safe place for your dog to go when they’re away from home. Our Program, developed by the Play Pawz qualified and experienced dog handlers and trainers, incorporates a wide range of fun play, mentally stimulating and physically challenging activities that engage a dog’s mind, body and senses, including smell, taste, sound and touch.
Essential for the physical and mental health of all dogs, enrichment activities have been shown to have wide-ranging benefits for dogs including promoting relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety, improving resilience, strengthening bonds with people and other dogs, and preventing undesirable behaviours (e.g. excessive barking, fear and aggression).
With the Play Pawz Dog Enrichment Activities Program including dog agility courses, puzzles, brain games and problem solving, nose-work and tasting treats, creative painting and special dress up days (Super Heroes, Jungle Theme, Barnyard Fun, Prom Theme, Pamper and Play, Valentines Day, etc.) our team is committed to providing our fur-friends with enriching experiences that help them stay psychologically and physiologically healthy – while having lots of fun.
